In partnership with INOVA Blood Donor Services, Chardi Kala Empowerment organized a community blood drive at the local gurdwara, bringing together members of all ages to give the gift of life. With over 60 units of blood collected, the event directly supported Virginia’s hospitals and emergency care units, helping to save countless lives. Volunteers managed donor registration, refreshments, and post-donation care while Sikh community leaders spread awareness about the importance of regular donation, especially among underrepresented populations. The initiative not only addressed critical shortages but also inspired ongoing partnerships with local health providers.
